Momentum is a rogue and warrior talent from the Dual-Weapon Sweep tree in Dragon Age: Origins.
Information[ | ]
- The character has learned to carry one attack through to the next, reducing attack speed (animation time) by a factor of 0.7 (30%). This attack speed increase corresponds to a damage per second increase of 42% (1/0.7=1.428 rounded down).
- Stamina regeneration in combat is reduced by 2.0 (leading to stamina drain, if the resulting stamina regeneration rate is less than 0). The ability will deactivate if stamina reaches 0.
- Conjuration time: 1s.
Notes[ | ]
- Upkeep is in stamina.
- Momentum and Dual Striking can be used simultaneously. Dual Striking needs to be reactivated each time you enter a new zone, even if it seems active, to work properly.
- Momentum does not increase movement speed.
- There is a bug in core h.nss resulting in the loss of any attack speed bonus if the speed modifier is higher than 0.5. Activating Haste + Momentum corresponds to a speed modifier of 0.55, resulting in the loss of the speed bonus. Activating Haste + Momentum + Precise Striking results in a valid speed modifier of 0.45.
