Yavana is a Witch of the Wilds who is known as the beast of the Antivan Tellari Swamps and is mentioned by Zevran in a dialogue with Morrigan, and in Dragon Age: The Silent Grove.
Involvement
Maric's cellmate tells Alistair that on their fourth year together in custody Yavana arrived in Velabanchel and demanded the Crows to release Maric. The old man never saw Maric or Yavana again.
Alistair, Isabela and Varric venture to the Tellari Swamps and encounter a high dragon. It suddenly stops attacking: Yavana is standing in front of the adventurers, petting the dragon.
