Widris a paranoid apostate hiding out in the Fallow Mire.

Background[]

Widris has escaped from a Circle of Magi prior to their fall during the Mage-Templar War. She traveled to the Fallow Mire to improve her magic skill in peace. She summoned demons and spirits to learn the secrets of the Fade. She wrote down all of her notes and ciphered them in a book, but lost it somewhere in the bog. Not wanting to be locked out of her own notes in the future, she started another journal and added another cipher to it, only to lose it again. She began working on a potion that, according to her, would allow her to get to the land beyond the Fade, but according to the demons it is beyond her power. She hid the formula for Tears of the Dead in veilfire runes at the Fallow Mire beacons, and ciphered them.
