Wardens of the Coast is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

There are signs that several Grey Wardens passed through the area, but scouts have been unable to track them with all the bandits around.

Acquisition Edit

When traveling to the Storm Coast for the first time, the quest is triggered automatically by speaking with Scout Harding.

Walkthrough Edit

Four locations are marked on the quest map, where Grey Wardens had made camp: one in Apostate's Landing, one in the Small Grove, and two further south at the Westridge.

The signs of the wardens can be found by searching these sites, and, after examining them, turn out to be actually pages of a Grey Warden's journal.

After having found all four, the quest completes.

Rewards Edit

  • 177 XP
  • 80 Influence
  • 1 Power

Notes Edit

  • If this quest is completed, after the Inquisitor has spoken to Hawke during the quest From the Ashes, they remark upon finding the last sign, that the Wardens may have been searching for the Warden ally.
  • Though not involved in this quest, it is advisable to bring Blackwall along, as at two of the campsites also memories of the Grey can be found, his companion quest, and later in the game groups of darkspawn are encountered in the whole area, whose defeating let him DAIApproval slightly approve each time.
  • Just north of the Westridge camps is also one of the tunnels from the quest Keeping the Darkspawn Down, and Sutherland and company went missing near here, too.
  • The quest's title may be a play on Wizards of the Coast, the publisher of Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons.
