This weapon does NOT need the Two-Handed skill tree, meaning any class can equip it provided they meet the strength requirement.
- On the PS3, equipping it on any other character than Hawke results in game freezing. This bug does not exist on the PC version.
- Equipping this weapon on a mage may cause certain spells' cooldowns to reduce to 0, such as Stonefist. Additionally, the animations for all spells will be replaced with a weapon swing, allowing rapid casting of spells.
Patched 06/2011, now limited to warriors, Two-Handed is needed
