Bann Vaughan is a human noble and the son of the Arl of Denerim. He plays the role of an antagonist in the City Elf Origin.

Involvement

This section contains spoilers for:
{{{context}}}.

Vaughan will appear just before the City Elf's wedding and cause trouble. He and his friends are driven off, but reappear together with armed guards and kidnap the females at the wedding, including The Warden (if she is female). Either way, The Warden fights his/her way through the Arl's estate to Vaughan, at which point The Warden may choose to spare Vaughan's life in exchange for 40 sovereigns, or simply kill him.

If the Warden chooses not to kill him, or plays a non-city elf origin, they will meet Vaughan in Howe's estate in Denerim. Howe is holding Vaughan captive, and Vaughan will trade a vote in the Landsmeet for his freedom, as well as 40 sovereigns. Again, it seems that only Zevran has a negative reaction to the release of Vaughan, disapproving by 5.
