Valuables

Valuables are a type of item in Dragon Age: Inquisition similar to junk in Dragon Age II. They can be found in various lootable containers and from corpses, and are placed immediately into the valuables section of your inventory.

The majority of the valuables have no practical use and exist solely to be sold to vendors for currency. There are, however, some items marked as valuables that are used in Requisitions as well as Creature research. Creature research items are displayed in the inventory with a golden icon and can be turned in to the Inquisition's Creature Researcher for additional perks.

Equipment and other items may be marked in the menu as 'Valuable,' thus moving them to the Valuables section of the inventory. This makes them easier to sell, with the press of a single button in shop menus as opposed to highlighting it in its default section.

Note: Although creature research items are listed under valuables in the inventory, they cannot be sold to a vendor nor can they be viewed in the valuables tab via the "Sell" option of vendors.
