Utha is a female dwarf, first seen in The Calling, with brief appearances in Awakening. She is mute, and uses sign-language to communicate.

Background

Utha is one of the Silent Sisters -- female dwarves who cut out their tongues in emulation of Astyth the Grey. Utha joined the Grey Wardens afterward, to avenge her family, who were slain by the Darkspawn. Throughout the events of The Calling, Utha becomes tainted by the Darkspawn taint and decides to join the Architect.

She is seen at the Architect's side, apparently offering violent solutions to his problems -- though she never says a word, all of her dialogue must be inferred from The Architect's responses.
