Notice[edit source]

Please do not remove essential wiki coding from articles. They may not cause a visible malfunction to the page itself, but it may cause to other pages in which they are linked to. Na via lerno victoria 05:19, October 20, 2013 (UTC)

Excuse me? What are you talking about? -- {{SUBST:Signature/Master Sima Yi}} 08:19, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
I had to restore this as Kal'Hirol's presentation in other pages malfunctioned. Na via lerno victoria 10:30, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
Right, good to know then. For future reference, a link to the edit you were referring to in the original notice would be appreciated, as I was left a bit puzzled about what you were talking about. -- {{SUBST:Signature/Master Sima Yi}} 12:08, October 20, 2013 (UTC)
Sure. On a lesser important note, in the same edit in which you removed the aforementioned wiki coding, you also paraphrased the sentence that Kal'Hirol is lost to the darkspawn during the events of the Fifth Blight (which is the beginning of Dragon Age: Origins, 9:30 Dragon). That edit was also marked as a "minor" edit, even if it did not meet the criteria of one. Please be more careful next time. Thanks for your responces. Image uploads[edit source]

Hi and thanks for your recent image uploads. I wanted to let you know that a couple of the images you uploaded are duplicates of images already on the wiki. File:Kirkwall Chantry concept art.jpg is a duplicate of File:Chantry-altar.jpg, File:Dragon Age II concept art.jpg is a duplicate of File:DAII Concept.jpg and File:Haven_concept_art_2.jpg was a duplicate of File:Frostback mountains.jpg As Dragon Age II concept art and Haven concept art 2 were direct duplicates, they have been deleted, as the chantry image was of a higher quality, it has been kept.

A good way to check whether an image is already on the wiki is to go to the appropriate category and see if the image is already there. In this example, as these pieces are concept art, you could go to Category:Dragon Age II concept art or Category:Dragon Age: Origins concept art to see if it's already there. If a category is particularly large, another good way to check for duplication is to go do a Google image search. If you find the image already exists, but you have a better quality copy (as was the case with the chantry image) you can choose the "replace" option from the drop down menu.

In addition, if you could add a summary, licensing, and categories when you upload an image, it would be appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks again for your contributions! Friendship small.pngLoleil Talk 00:34, January 4, 2014 (UTC)
