Copied from my blog on the ME wiki. Some may call this overreacting but there are numerous other reasons I am feeling extremely dissatisfied with Bioware.
As most people that have finished Mass Effect 3 know, the ending is quite awful compared to the rest of the game. With that, I have to say this was the straw that broke the camel's back. I spent quite a while trying to create a perfect Shepard through all three games. I completed every mission, did every sidequest, and talked to my squadmates constantly hoping to see the culmination of all my efforts come together in the trilogy's final ending. Now all I'm left with is disappointment. Sure ME3 was a superb game, but the idiocy that permeates that ending just ruined it for me. Really, I just do not get what Bioware was thinking while making it. Any true fan of the series could of just glanced at it and of known that something critical was missing. It makes me feel that all of my progress was done in vain. What's worse is that I am not all that surprised. Post ME2, Bioware has been chronically f***ing up. Essentially ruining the Dragon Age series, a disgusting lack of basic editing with Mass Effect Deception, and essentially becoming DLC whores with ME3. On top of that, Bioware just seems to become increasingly apathetic towards their fans with ever new announcement. Bioware is simply no longer the same company I fell in love with, now they're just another company in EA's pocket. Well I'm tired of it. I'm tired of having whatever fun I have with their games being subverted by the inevitable disappointment, it's just not worth it. Unless I see a change for the better from Bioware, I'm through. Until then I will not be buying another Bioware game.
