Acquisition
A Tome of the Mortal Vessel is a usable item available for purchase from two shopkeepers throughout Ferelden. One is Legnar in Orzammar and the other is Varathorn in the Dalish Camp after three main quests have been completed.
Varathorn will have the tomes if you kill Witherfang or reason with both sides in Nature of the Beast.
- 360 You can get the Tome from Varathorn after completing three (edit) main quests and before doing anything else other then talking to the Keeper Zathrian. This way you can get the Tome no matter how you decide in Nature of the Beast
Notes
When used, the reader earns +1 attribute point which can be immediately applied.
Despite stating "one or more", this tome only ever offers one attribute point.
NOTE: sometimes killing witherfang WILL NOT allow you to purchase the tome.
