Trivia
- "Throwing the Gauntlet" was a European practice in the Middle Ages. A warrior, most often a knight or lord, would issue a challenge to their rival by taking off their gauntlet and throwing it at their rival's feet. The rival was then forced to pick up the gauntlet, accepting the challenge, or else risk their honor and pride by denying the challenge.
