Threnn's dialogue concerns her conversation with the Inquisitor.

Talking to Threnn in Haven[]

(If the Inquisitor is a dwarf)

  • Threnn: If you've got lyrium to sell, Commander Cullen is handling all purchases.

(If the Inquisitor is a non-mage elf)

  • Threnn: If you're here to clean, Hess can get you a bucket and a broom. Anyone calls you "knife-ear," you come to me.

(If the Inquisitor is a non-mage human)

  • Threnn: No, my lord/lady, I don't know where the other nobles are. I suggest you ask Ambassador Montilyet.

(If the Inquisitor is a non-mage qunari)

  • Threnn: I didn't realize any of Leliana's oxmen mercenaries were still here. Well, if you want new gear, you pay for it.

(If the Inquisitor is a mage)

  • Threnn: Any Circle mage wanting to join needs to speak with Cullen or Cassandra. Apostates, too, I suppose.

Conversation proceed

  • Threnn: Oh. You're him/her. Threnn, Inquisiton Quartermaster. I'm doing what I can to supply this mess. If you find what I need to fill one of my requisitions, I'd appreciate you bringing it in.
───────

(Tell me about requisitions.)

  • Inquisitor: What did you mean when you mentioned requisitions?
  • Threnn: I'm making this Inquisition run with what we have, but we're not a real army. We're stretched thin on materials, so I've put up requisition lists for anything that could help our people. Here, take a look. You find some iron and a good logging site, maybe Harritt can get our troops better weapons.
Note: This dialogue option grants Recipe: Inquisition Weapons

(How do I fill special orders?)

  • Inquisitor: If I have material for a special order, do I bring it to you?
  • Threnn: Just take it over there. One of my boys will take the materials or jot down what you found.

(What is your job?)

  • Inquisitor: What do you do here?
  • Threnn: I make sure the Inquisition troops have food in their bellies and iron in their hands. Both are important. Lot of people expecting us to be heroes, marching all day to fight the demons. Turns out heroes need to dig latrines just like everyone else.
───────

(How did you end up here?)

  • Inquisitor: How does someone end up as quartermaster for the Inquisition?
  • Threnn: I served Ferelden under Teyrn Loghain Mac Tir. Best commanding officer this world has ever seen. After they all turned on him at Denerim, though, there wasn't much use for people who held that opinion.

If Anora became queen

  • Threnn: Queen Anora offered my services to the Inquisition. It was a kindness; she knew I supported her father and got me away from the political garbage.

If Anora not became queen

  • Threnn: King Alistair offered my services to the Inquisition, probably to get rid of me.

(1. I'm glad you believe in him.)

  • Inquisitor: Your loyalty to the man you served is admirable, quartermaster.
  • Threnn: Thank you. A lot of people seem to think they know what happened at Ostagar... but I was there. Teyrn Loghain never betrayed his king. If he'd brought the reinforcements, darkspawn would have just killed everyone. He did what he had to do to save our country... and we betrayed him. (Conversation continues)

(2. No wonder you're unpopular.)

  • Inquisitor: With that attitude, I can't imagine how you made enemies in Denerim.
  • Threnn: People just don't want to hear the truth. I was at Ostagar, and I know what really happened. (Conversation continues)

(3. Loghain is a traitor.)

  • Inquisitor: Loghain Mac Tir betrayed the Grey Wardens and his king.
  • Threnn: Were you there at Ostagar? I was. (Conversation continues)

Conversation continues

  • Threnn: King Cailan overextended his position, and the Grey Wardens were too late lighting the signal. Following the original plan would have gotten everyone killed! Teyrn Loghain made the right decision. I... apologize. Sister Leliana told me I shouldn't talk about this. Just forget it.

(5. Loghain is a Grey Warden now.)

  • Inquisitor: I understand Loghain joined the Grey Wardens after the Blight ended.
  • Threnn: Yes. "A mercy," people called it, serving the Order they say he betrayed. He could have led Ferelden to greatness. Instead, he lives in exile, fighting darkspawn until the day he dies.
───────

(Goodbye.)

  • Inquisitor: Farewell.
  • Threnn: Maker go with you.
───────
  • Threnn: Can I help you something?
───────
  • Threnn: Nice work with those supplies. The smiths can use them to fit our troops with better gear. Might not affect you much, but our recruits will have better chances next time some monster flies out of a rift.
Note: This dialogue grants Healing Mixture

Skyhold (conditional)[]

  • Threnn: Thanks for my life in Haven. You've all sorts serving now. If that means change, so be it.
  • Threnn: I went to Warden Loghain to give my respects. He knew me. Even remembered my name. Best commander this world will ever know.
