The Warden Vault

The Warden Vault is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. There's a mysterious sealed door in the old Warden Fortress - perhaps there's something valuable hiding behind it?

Finding the first lever needed to open the vault acquires the quest.

Walkthrough[]

A sealed door guards ancient treasures beneath the Warden Fortress in Rivain.

Three levers need activation to access the vault:

One on the mezzanine floor in the main hall of the Warden Castle, behind a locked gate together with some treasure. That gate can be opened by solving a small puzzle of lighting torches in a small room accessed through from the outside wall of the castle.
One can be accessed by fetching a wisp on top of a ladder in the Castle Bailey, then heading inside past a lump of dragon stone that Taash can melt. Up some stairs is a skeleton that the wisp animates in order to unlock a door behind which the lever and some loot awaits.
The last one has to be unlocked by following a spirit from one location to the next. Activate it by a grave in the area marked on the map, then follow in the direction it disappears to (the map updates to indicate the locations) then repeat. Each grave has a green glow and ethereal butterflies around it. The last spirit leads back into the great hall of the Warden Castle to unlock a secret area containing the last lever.

The Vault itself is located below the main hall of the Warden Castle, behind a wall of dragon stone that Taash can melt to access. Enter the vault to finish the quest.
