The Seeker is an intelligent darkspawn emissary and one of the Disciples serving the Architect.
Involvement[]
The Seeker was the mastermind behind all the problems in the Wending Wood and was the one who captured Velanna's sister Seranni alongside another elf (who later killed himself). The Seeker went beyond his orders of kidnapping Dalish elves and planted evidence implicating humans were involved in the slaughter of Velanna's Dalish companions. The elves' leader Velanna believed humans had performed the slaughter and kidnapped her sister, Seranni, and thus sent sylvans to attack every human who came into the woods. The Seeker claims he was merely curious about how Velanna would react.
The Seeker's actions helped to cause the deaths of the Dalish elf tribe in the area and Velanna's rampage. However, it does not make a physical appearance in the game and is only mentioned in letters written by the Architect describing the events.
