Once Caer Bronach has been captured during the main quest Still Waters, the Inquisitor will head to the tavern to access the dam controls to drain the lake. Inside the Inquisitor will stumble upon two surprised lovers... and will basically continue on to flip the controls, which function without a hitch, despite the mayor claiming: "they were wrecked by darkspawn ten years prior." Once the lake is drained the Northern Hunter can be seen flying past the tavern towards the ruined building in the Black Fens and land next to the Fereldan Wyvern Statues landmark.
