The Naturalist is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

A man in Crestwood is concerned that a friend of his, Judith, isn't safe living outside of town. He'd appreciate someone checking up on her.

Acquisition[]

Speak with Gauld in the Village of Crestwood to obtain the quest.

Walkthrough[]

Locate Judith in her home at Forester Homestead. Speaking to Judith and inquiring about the Wyvern will unlock the side quest Wyrm Hole.

Alternatively, if Judith has already been spoken to at least once, the Inquisitor can simply tell Gauld "Judith is fine," which instantly completes the quest.

Rewards[]

  • 128 XP
  • Influence 80

Notes[]

  • If Gauld is told that Judith is fine, Gauld will then ask if she mentioned him at all before nervously telling the Inquisitor to forget he said anything. This implies that he is romantically interested in Judith. His concern can still be mentioned to Judith afterwards.
  • If the Inquisitor mentions that a man asked them to check on her, Judith chuckles and determines that it is Gauld. She states that she's glad he stayed in the village, noting that he's fast with a loom but terrible with a sword.
