The Lost is a Disciple allied to the Mother, a type of intelligent darkspawn emissary.
Involvement
He appears during Last of the Legion in the lower reaches of Kal'Hirol, where its defensive forces battle the invasion force sent by The Architect to kill the Broodmothers that reside in the deepest part of the ancient dwarven thaig.
It is fought along with the Inferno Golem which it controls. When, the Warden-Commander shows up, he or she sees the Inferno Golem tearing a Disciple who was the leader of the invading force in half, while The Lost talks about how it will kill everyone including the Warden-Commander. The Warden-Commander must then battle The Lost and the Inferno Golem.

The Lost has some interesting combos with the Inferno Golem. The Lost has every single fire spell: Flame blast, Fireball, Inferno and grease. Fire resistant equipment will go well with this such as the Wade's Dragonskin/scale/bone Armor.
