The Lost is a Disciple of the Mother, a type of intelligent darkspawn emissary and one of the antagonists in Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening.
Involvement
He appears during Last of the Legion in the lower reaches of Kal'Hirol, where his defensive forces battle the invasion force sent by The Architect to kill the Broodmothers that reside in the deepest part of the ancient dwarven keep.
He is fought during an Elite Boss encounter along with the Inferno Golem which he controls. As the Warden-Commander shows up he sees the Inferno Golem tearing a darkspawn Disciple in half, while The Lost talks about how he will kill everyone including the Warden-Commander. The Warden-Commander must battle The Lost and the Inferno Golem, both of which are elite bosses.

The Lost has some interesting combos with the Inferno Golem. The Lost has every single fire spell. Flame blast, Fireball, Inferno and grease. Fire resistant equipment will go well with this such as the Wade's Dragonskin/scale/bone Armor.
