Result: "...where he was received with the graces due a prince!" Draped in flamboyant livery, the herald casts a pitying glance around your hall before embarking on a comprehensive account of their time at court. As he drones on about the feasts, favors, and compliments lavished upon his master, you consider how Serault could benefit from this.

"Sad news, your Grace..." the herald exclaims. "Your beloved relative -" and here he says an entirely unfamiliar name, "- has passed away. Please! Master your grief! Their end was peaceful. Mostly peaceful."
Result: Mourning Adopting a convincing air of grief, you scour your memory. Oh yes! You were distantly related: cousins of cousins, perhaps? You met once. Maybe. At a wedding. The herald's next words catch your attention: "It leaves the delicate matter of the will. The deceased has requested that you - bound as you were by a close, consanguineal bond - administer it."
