The Dowager's Departure

The Dowager's Departure is an event card in Dragon Age: The Last Court. It generates only if the Marquis of Serault replaces the Acerbic Dowager with another Counselor.

Description[]

When she hears of her replacement, the Dowager primly adjusts her mask. Her lips are thin and pale.

Available actions[]

Her offence is clear
You will lose the Dowager as a Counselor and may lose Freedom.

Result:
"No doubt you have found someone who shares your follies," she says. "Excuse me, your Grace. I must visit the chantry to pray for Serault." She stalks from your hall.
Dowager is no longer Counselor, -2 Dignity

Bugs[]

Despite the game saying that you may lose Freedom, there is no difficulty check and you don't lose Freedom but instead Dignity.
