The Dispossessed is a limited deck card in Dragon Age: The Last Court. It will appear after The Martyr is resolved and the Elusive Iconoclast is imprisoned in Chateau Serault.

Description[]

Outside the Chateau Serault a growing mob raise candles against the night and demand the Iconoclast's release. When the nights are warm, their disposition turns from surly to hostile.

Tonight, it is very warm.

Available actions[]

1.

Lead a sortie
A quick charge, some bumped heads. Truncheons, not blades.
Difficulty: Derring-do*6/5

Success: The thunder of hooves
The crowd scatters before you, fleeing into alleyways and courtyards. It would be folly to pursue them further. Until the matter of the Iconoclast is settled, they'll continue to congeal outside your walls, but at least you'll have some peace tonight.
- 2-10 Peril

Failure: A sea of flesh
The moment the gate opens, the crowd surges forward. Your riders haven't got their momentum yet; it's like tried to ford the river in flood season. The charge turns into a quarterless battle for the gate, and by midnight the cobbles are red.
You manage to drive them back outside and get the gate closed. Only when your captain calls for a healer do you realise you were hurt in the fighting.
-20 Health

2.

Convince them to disperse for the night
Words, not swords.
Difficulty: Rulership*6/5

Success: Peddling patience
You reassure the gathered crowd that their Iconoclast is safe. You promise them justice, but tell them it wont be tonight.
Placated for now, they make their way in a ragged train to the Chantry to pray.
-10 Peril

Failure: Sound and fury
You haven't even time to speak before they start screaming for the Iconoclast. Some of them start to throw balls of something that thud against the walls, sticking there: balls of dung, mixed with glass shards from the waste pits.
You retreat from the walls.
