The Captain of the Chargers is a companion quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition, whereby the Inquisitor can recruit Iron Bull as a companion.

A Qunari warrior known as the Iron Bull is offering aid for the Inquisition from his mercenary company, the Bull’s Chargers.

Acquisition

Triggered automatically after the conclusion of The Threat Remains.

Walkthrough

A messenger is waiting outside the Haven chantry, introducing himself as Krem, a member of the Bull's Chargers. Talk to him to proceed the quest.

Unlock the Storm Coast area if you haven't already and then head there to meet with the Iron Bull. On the Storm Coast, Iron Bull and his company can be found on the beach just past the Storm's Solitude camp. As the Inquisitor arrives, the Chargers are in the midst of a battle with some Tevinter Zealots (Warrior 1-handed) and Tevinter Marksmen (archer). The Charger's can be supported in the battle with Barrier spells though Bull himself is invulnerable. After the fight, the Inquisitor can speak to Iron Bull and either accept or reject him and the Bull's Chargers for recruitment to the Inquisition. Codex entry: Iron Bull will unlock upon completion of the quest.
