Astrarium Hinterlands

Astrarium

  • Anvil of the Void' – a device used to create golems.
  • Astrarium – a device of ancient Tevinter origin that allows the viewing of constellations in the stars.
  • Circulum Infinitus – an ancient artifact powered by blood magic.
  • Eluvian – a "mirror" used to communicate and travel great distances.
  • Glowstone – a rock infused with lyrium to provide light.[2]
  • Golem – creatures of hewn stone or sheets of metal animated with a spark of lyrium.
  • Lyrium éperlan – a device of unknown origin, capable of combining runes.
  • Magrallen – a device empowered by blood of those carrying the blood of Great dragon.[3]

  • Mirror of Transformation – a magical mirror that can alter your appearance, at the cost of changing who you were and will be in the future.

Occularum

  • Ocularum – a skull infused with a crystal protruding through the right eye socket used to reveal hidden shards.
  • Phylactery – a vessel used to contain the essence of a magical being.
  • Qamek – a poison used by the Tamassrans on those who refuse to be converted into the ideology of the Qun.
  • Rune – items that bestow magical properties to enchant weapons.
  • Sending stones/crystals – magical devices capable of facilitating long-distance communication.
    • Elven stone
    • Sending crystal – a rare artifact that lets two parties communicate easily across large distances.[4]
    • Sending stone – a communication device located in each Circle of Magi that allows for exchange of information between multiple locations, although sendings are not done lightly. The Divine has an access to a sending stone as well.[5]
  • Shard
  • Veilfire – a unique source of lighting that mages can activate, but anyone can carry.

    • BiancaVarric's personal repeating crossbow of unique design.
    • Sha-Brytol Bolter – a rapid-firing crossbow-like weapon similar in function to Bianca, but more mechanized, that fires lyrium-infused bolts.
  • Davri Mechanical Thresher – powered by steam, it separates grain from chaff.[15]
  • Davri Seed Drill – distributes seeds in a perfect row, can be adjusted for spacing and depth of the crop being planted. Requires a horse or ox to operate.[16]
  • Davri Spinning Machine – powered by moving water, spins a finer quality of thread than other spinning methods.[16]
