Talwyn can be spoken to by the Inquisitor right after their meeting with Fiona and Gereon Alexius at the Gull and Lantern in Redcliffe. He is against the alliance of the southern Rebel Mages with the Tevinter Imperium.
If the mages are recruited:
In the grim future witnessed by the Inquisitor, Talwyn can be encountered on his knees on the Docks of Redcliffe Castle, begging Linnea not to hurt him; however, she states that the Elder One demands sacrifices. Despite his objections, Linnea summons two shades that instantly consume both of their bodies and proceed to attack the Inquisitor and their accompanying party, who then slay them both.
