Deletion[]
We don't seem to have enough information since the game isn't out yet and it's almost entirely based on speculation. -

It's not speculation (see this article), but it's true there isn't a lot of information regarding the faction. That being said, I'm neutral towards its deletion, since it's likely going to be recreated again. ···

We don't really have enough information, true, but this article is not based on speculation. There is no speculation in the article, hence why it is so empty. I don't see the point in this recent spate of purges, supposedly because 'the game isn't out yet'. It puts this wiki behind in terms of information as time progresses, and in almost every single case will result in recreation. Alexsau1991

- The reason for the multiple requests (there have actually been few outright deletions) for deletion is not primarily because the game is not out yet, it’s because there is conflicting information coming in from multiple sources, many of them leaked before the articles are even published/translated correctly (and it doesn’t help that BioWare is refusing to confirm most of it). There has been a spate of people slapping up any crap rumors they want to on the wiki and not bothering to see if it's correct or verifiable, or even backed up by a source. Not necessarily on this article, but definitely on others ("a jar of bees can one-shot a high dragon", for instance).
- A solution regarding creating Inquisition pages with little information could be reached if anyone actually wanted to bring the discussion up in a single place rather than on a whole bunch of different talk pages (I had considered doing that, and even wrote something up, but I’m letting myself get way too wound up about this whole issue). --Kelcat (talk) 23:58, April 4, 2014 (UTC)
- This wouldn't be a "real" wiki without the occasional nonsense article being made now and again ;) Anyway, since you asked I made a condensed forum post here. Maybe someone will find it of interest while I go back to my pedantic cleanup of Origins articles. --Kelcat (talk) 04:21, April 5, 2014 (UTC)
I have removed the deletion template per this discussion. ···

"Based on"[]
From trivia: Their armor is based on the armor worn by Roman Gladiators.
Is there a source that says the developers actually based the venatori armor on gladiator armor? --♫ Kelcat Talk 06:09, October 24, 2014 (UTC)
Image[]
To avoid confusion, if the Venatori don't have their own crest and instead just borrow the Tevinter Imperium's sigils, then I think we should just use an image of assembled Venatori members for the infobox if we can get a decent one. Just putting this up as a note for later.

Individual Unit Pages or a combination page[]
I thought I should open this discussion now and get the ball rolling in advance. Should we have individual articles for each Venatori enemy class or combine them here on the organization page?

- I haven't seen many videos so I don't know for sure about the details of the Venatori, but it might be a bit too soon to say one way or the other. I think it depends on if they all have significantly different skills and talents associated with them, and how different they are from each other. --♫ Kelcat Talk 08:41, November 14, 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah I'm inclined to go the same way. I don't think we really need a separate page for the Marksman or Soldier's if they've just got the default range and warrior combat skills.

Companion approval[]
Iron Bull[]
Iron Bull yields "slight approval" if he's in the party when you kill a group of venatori. Perhaps a mention of this on the page somewhere and any other companions approval changes? I would suspect that Dorian approves as well although I can't recall if he actually gains any when killing them and I'm having a hard time finding any groups to test it on on my current playthrough. 109.56.233.122 (talk) 22:11, December 4, 2014 (UTC)
Brainwash[]
There is no confirmation in game, that the rebel mages were brainwashed. The only source of brainwash is in a guide, that cannot be considered canon. The only time in game the rebels are mentioned is in a banter between Dorian and Bull, where Dorians says the rebels who didnt flee, either joined the Venatori or were killed. So until a svalid source appears, I think its better to remove the brainwash part of the article.
