Tears vs rifts[]
So, do we know the difference between the two, or are they virtually the same, just called differently?

There's a conversation with Solas which seems to indicate they are virtually the same. Tears in the veil occur "naturally" due to the pressure spirits and demons put on the veil in certain places, like the brecilian forest. Rifts would appear to be a side effect of the breach, or purposely sundering the veil. But they are virtually the same thing.

Creation[]
There's no reference to the Maker creating the Veil in established Chantry text. There are claims by scholars but such distinctions should be noted in the article.
Sourcing the quote from Sophia Dryden[]
Made several edits which, individually, should be minor (based on what I was reading under the "When should I mark an edit as minor?" bit on the Help:Minor edit page), but as I made more than one (I'm new and still figuring excat functions out - sorry) I marked the last as non-minor. I believe I succeeded (I added a reference for a quote that I hadn't heard, and couldn't find evidence for, otherwise), but I'm not certain if I succeeded. It should not alter the tone or any sort of information in the article.

- We don't normally reference quotes, unless they are obscure or otherwise contested in origin. Additionally, we tend not to use YouTube as a source, unless it is the only one. And thirdly, you can sign your comments on talk pages by leaving four tildes at the end (~~~~).

- Ah! Thank you! (As you can see, I'd used the tildes, but I also wrote it out, as I'd not done anything before, and, since the window didn't auto-format, I wasn't sure how it worked, exactly.) Now I see; thanks, henioo! Should I remove the source, then? Though I'm likely rare, I realized that, of all the times I've done Warden's Peak, I've never sided with the Dryden-demon that I recall, I couldn't figure who it was who was saying the line - either the Dryden-demon or the original Dryden - and couldn't place the context for either, though after having found the video it made more sense. Hence looking it up (which was surprisingly difficult) and adding it. Still, it makes sense, and let me know if you want me to remove it, and I will! Tacticslion (talk) 05:19, June 29, 2020 (UTC)
