Commander[]

Is it me or this title reminds me of the reference to PC in Mass Effect? SkyBon (talk) 20:12, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

What do you mean the word commander... I dont get what you mean. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gdubs (talkcontribs)
Shepard's title is Lieutenant-Commander, so he is often referred to as "Commander" or "Commander Shepard". SkyBon (talk) 16:37, October 1, 2010 (UTC) The title "Commander" in the ranking system is Lt.Colonel or higher, or means Captain of a Warship. in Commander Shepard's case hes more of commando "elite soldier" if you play mass-effect 2, he says "I never actually reached the rank of Captain.." so he can't be Lt.Commander, but the title Commander is leader. --LtCommander Grogan (talk) 20:51, October 13, 2011 (UTC)

Nobles category[]

Shouldn't the commander also be part of the nobles, as is The Warden? It might be the same person. Henio0 (talk) 00:38, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

As I explained in your talk page, having both Fereldan nobility/Noble caste category as well as the Nobles one is reduntant. I have made that change but ultimately I wait your approval before I proceed. So, please reply to your talk page, Henio0 :-) Na via lerno victoria 01:43, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

The Warden's categories[]

I would argue that the Commander still belongs to the same backgrounds as the one in Origins. One, dwarf warden always ends game a paragon with his or her own house - therefore is not castless, mage warden is no longer member of the Circle but a Warden, Dalish elf left his or her clan and doesn't really classify as a Dalish IMHO. Thoughts? Henio0 (talk) 08:28, March 24, 2013 (UTC)

I have removed the casteless and Circle of magi categories, however I am against removing the Dalish as in Awakening, Velanna and other dalish still recognize the Commander as one of their people, irrelevant if he or she lives a nomadic life or not. Na via lerno victoria 09:40, March 24, 2013 (UTC)
Correction, my friend. Only Velanna recognises Dalish Warden, Marren doesn't, he says "Thank you whoever you are". What's strange Velanna says she travels with humans when they are not in the company (Dalish Warden, Vela, Oggy & Sig).78.8.96.199 (talk) 09:58, March 24, 2013 (UTC)Just call me Dalish fan.

Possible titles in the title section?[]

Should we add titles that are possible to gain by The Warden? Tittles such as Paragon, Teyrn of Gwaren, King Consort, Queen, Bann, Chancellor and what have you? Henio0 (talk) 16:09, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

Categories[]

Copied from here: In my view we shouldn't list everything the Warden can be in the form of categories (nobility, royalty, bards, shadows, champions etc.). Personally I'd like to restrict the categories for the Warden to Characters, Playable characters, Dragon Age: Origins characters, Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening characters, Grey Wardens, Fereldans (though I suppose we might extend this to include Humans, Elves, Dwarves).
