Witch Hunt version[]
Just found another version (in the DLC itself) than those listed, with a different Tier 9 material. Most of the stats are different as well. This dropped from a chest in the Elven Ruins.
Stats for the one I found are:
The Sorrows of Arlathan (Volcanic) Volcanic Aurum (Tier 9)
Requires 44 Dex
Damage: 10.00 Critical Chance: 1.80% Armor Penetration: 10.00 Range: 44 Strength Modifier: 1
+5 Damage Rapid Aim +10% Ranged Critical Chance +4 Armor Penetration
Don't recall seeing that particular material before, though it's been several months since I've played DA:O, and I don't have Awakenings yet.
Anyone else run across anything similar?

- I got the bow which was made out of Volcanic Aurum too. It's the highest tier material, added to the game by Awakening. Kind of off though since it's supposed to be a metal, and I didn't know the game had bows made of metal. Still cool though...a metallic bow is bound to be more hard-wearing than a wooden one. - This is a bug in the item file; the original material indeed is Ancestral Heartwood. -- -- You talkin' to me? -- cCContributions -- 18:37, March 25, 2017 (UTC)
Runes[]
How to i fix the 0 rune slots in the toolset? I cant get the item to show up in the toolset...Question2006 (talk) 17:12, January 13, 2015 (UTC)
- This wouldn't be a "fix", but a "cheat". Long- and shortbows, as well as staves, in Dragon Age: Origins and all its DLC aren't supposed to have weapon runes. -- -- You talkin' to me? -- cCContributions -- 18:37, March 25, 2017 (UTC)
