The name of the quest Edit

It's actually called The Private Collection, at least on the PS3 version.Lying Memories (talk) 01:53, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

It's called "The Private Collection" on Xbox360 as well. Mdjacobus (talk) 03:35, February 19, 2011 (UTC)

It's called "The Private Collection" on the PC too. This topic is misnamed. (talk) 16:36, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

I renamed the page. – mostlyautumntalkcontribs • 17:00, June 23, 2013 (UTC)

Combat mode Edit

It's said in the article that fighting the nearest enemies to the entrance would help to exit combat mode. Not for me, I had to kill all the guards in the area before combat mode was over. (And--as added in the bugs--this was the only way to get my money back from Slim Couldry.) -- CompleCCity 17:06, July 29, 2014 (UTC)

Slim not updating bug Edit

I did a full investigation of the alleged bug in this quest, and at least on the PC Steam Ultimate Edition I can't reproduce it or find any way of missing the journal update in the toolset. The lever definitely has no connection to anything - it has no scripts attached and using it does not set any flags, open doors or anything else. What triggers the final quest update needed to get Couldry to give you your money back is leaving *any* Denerim area after having the journal entry that the trap was sprung in your journal. You can't spring the trap - meaning spawning the troops that attack you - without getting that update (the journal entry flag itself creates the troops and traps), so the quest can't break there. Killing the troops in the estate is not required. It is only the act of exiting any Denerim area with the trap sprung journal entry set that does the further update needed by Couldry to progress, nothing more is required. It still works when going straight to the party camp, as the destination isn't relevant to whether you exited the estate area. So this bug, if it exists at all, must be exclusive to consoles or created by a mod.Qwinn (talk) 13:22, April 14, 2017 (UTC)
