Dead Templar before Vereveel[]

There's a dead Templar in the room just before Vereveel's. There's even an X on the map indicating its location, which gives the impression it's important. But I can't seem to find any way to interact with it. Is there something special about this body? Servius 02:37, April 18, 2010 (UTC)

I noticed the dead body as well. At first I thought it meant she was the same demon as the one who enchanted the templar into thinking he had a wife and kids. She dissapears with him if you let her go, so I was thinking that maybe she drained the life out of him in the Fade. Though the only problem with this theory is that the templar's dead body appears even if you killed her and the templar priar to entering the Fade. Still, some reason I am convinced these two things are connected. 151.204.236.13 (talk) 23:54, July 3, 2011 (UTC)
Shortly before I reach the room with the dead templar and Vereveel there's a journal update: "[…] templar dreamer […] Unfortunately you weren't able to reach him in time, and he has succumbed to the nightmare."
This happens every time I played through this. I started a try and rushed through the whole thing only defeating those enemies I couldn't elude and got there really fast--journal updates as described.
In the toolset when looking into the plotfile, there's a flag "NIGHTMARE_KO_TEMPLAR_SAVED" besides "…FOUND". So my question is, is there any possibility to save this templar? Has anyone been successful with it? -- CompleCCity (talk) 18:48, July 5, 2014 (UTC)
