How does one obtain the spirit healer specialization for the mages?

Hawke will not die

A Spirit Healer Hawke who always keeps the Cleansing Aura mode on will always regenerate enough health and will not die. You can also use all the the Creation spells, keeping on Heroic Aura, and some of the Spirit Spells such as dispell. This makes for a very effective Hawke who will be able to revive fallen companions under the most dire circumstances. This mode, however, may be turned off in the Night Terrors quest (perhaps a bug) and Hawke might die from cheesy one swipe from a turned friend or a demon.--Diosprometheus (talk) 06:48, May 17, 2011 (UTC)
