Minor Exploit Edit
ps3 Got the key, went up used the key and got the 50XP and cleaned out the room. After lambasting Isolde with a 38str Casteless fist and killing Connor, I went back to the vault, and picked the lock for another 50XP. Shadizar666 (Ruck Rules) 07:57, June 22, 2013 (UTC)
xbox360 (this is an XP exploit) When I was first at the castle, I didn't find the vault, I agreed to get the mage's help to save Conner. When I got back, I went ahead and saved him before exploring the castle. After saving him, I found the vault upstairs, and used the key that I had picked up the first time that I was in the castle (I don't remember if I got any experience for using the key).
I looked through the stuff in the room, but didn't take anything from the room. After I had looked through the chests and stuff, I went back downstairs, then decided, WTH, I'll take a couple things, and went back upstairs to the vault - the door was locked again, but this time, I didn't have the key (my character is not a thief, and did not possess the ability to pick locks).
So, I went and added Leliana to my party (I had focused on her ability to pick locks, since I did not posses that ability myself), and went back to the vault, and she was able to pick the lock, and got 50XP. Thinking that it was strange that the door had locked itself after the first time I went in there, I left the floor of the castle, and returned again, only to find that the door was locked again,... I picked the lock again, and got another 50XP...
I found that the door re-locks itself every time I leave that floor, and return, and every time I pick the lock, I get another 50XP - I did this about 20 times before I got bored... It's a very slow way to get XP... 220.127.116.11 (talk) 20:16, July 11, 2015 (UTC)
