True, I mean look at The Risen Andraste. The cultists worshipped her, thinking she was Andraste. Maybe the "Old Gods" are just other dragons like her, ones that, like the Chantry says, "tricked" the humans into worshipping them. Then, just like how dragons breath fire but the archdemons breath blue fire... the red lyrium dragon breaths red fire... It could be that the "old gods" used regular lyrium to augment themselves like what was done with this red lyrium dragon. Shouldn't there be a given identity for this creature by now? It seems just kind of plain to call it red lyrium dragon.

Speculation

As red Lyriums confirmed to have the blight the dragon may have her shape because of the lyriums properties, the fact that it looks so slimier to an old god may confirm that they are actually some form of dragon and not some other creature capable of changing shape.--FossilLord 05:38, November 29, 2014 (UTC)
