This Origin is called Magi Origin in Dragon Age, not "Mage Origin." Melios 14:13, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Elven mage Edit

I was wondering if an elven mage Warden is possibly Dalish. In character creation, the tattoos you can have either tattoos that are available to only a City Elf or Dalish tattoos. I realize it doesn't make a lot of sense of a Dale to be in the Tower, but perhaps they were caught and taken from the clan or something? I am simply wondering if that is at all a possibility. I doubt it, however, the tattoos got me wondering. StillAlive (talk) 16:26, March 22, 2013 (UTC)

No, elven mage doesn't even mention being Dalish this during conversation with another elven coulage, but an Alienage or Lothering. (talk) 16:45, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
You don't have the option to be a magi dalish elf. Surana is a city elf who from a very young age was sent to the Circle. There is a bug in Leliana's dialog however which makes her think that a City Elf mage was raised up in the Alienage, though.Viktoria Landers 18:23, March 22, 2013 (UTC)
Also, all elves have the same tattoo selection, just like all dwarves have the same tattoo selection even though they are culturally for outcasts/casteless only and not for nobles. It's nothing more than sloppy CC design, at worst. Yeti magi (talk) 13:54, March 23, 2013 (UTC)
Yes, my bad, I got this confused with the Orlesian Warden. StillAlive (talk) 01:16, March 26, 2013 (UTC)

Alternate path Edit

I noticed that this page doesn't really mention that there is a second path through this origin. Is this by design?
