Change to starter stats?[]
I have the DA:I strategy guide, which gives considerably more starting stats than are listed here. For example, there isn't a base defense stat - it's split into magic/melee/ranged defense. Guard, barrier, flanking and critical damage bonuses all vary as well, plus armour penetration, max guard and main-hand/off-hand damage. Warriors and rogues have all starting stats further split between two-handed/weapon and shield and dual-wield/archer (and yes, there are differences). I'm happy to update the base stats for all classes, but I don't know whether to include the other starting stats as well. Thoughts? Magpieme (talk) 13:45, September 18, 2015 (UTC)
Primary Attack Attribute Growth[]
There appears to be automatic growth in the classes primary attack attribute on even levels. The first time we are able to see the inquisitor's attributes are at level 2 in order to introduce the player to leveling. The other party members if you remove all of their equipment have 10s across the board for the six attributes. Then at level 2 Cassandra gains 1 point to strength, Solas gains one point to Magic, and Varric gains 1 point to Dexterity. You can tell it is at level 2 and not level 1 due to a bug preventing Cassandra gaining experience in the tutorial. This point matches the Inquisitor's seemingly starting 11 in their chosen class. At level 20 all the party members, excluding the Inquisitor, will have 10 bonus points (20 total) the specific attribute. You can tell this if you use The Tactician's Renewal amulet and remove all equipment from the party member. 99.120.172.165 (talk) 04:21, January 29, 2016 (UTC)
