Fereldan? Edit

Is Kristoff really Fereldan? We know that he was part of the Orlesian Wardens and there is a trivia of him that possibly links him with an old Orlesian Warden Commander. Viktoria Landers 20:50, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

In episode 4 of DA: Warden's fall lieutenant Gable spoke with Kristoff. He told him knows Amarantine because he was a bounty hunter, dialogue begins in moment 3:37 of the episode, here's link to the episode [[1]]. However you have your point being a bounty hunter who worked in Amarantine doesn't mean he's Fereldan.21:19, January 20, 2013 (UTC)Just call me Dalish fan.
This is a good question. I always had the impression Kristoff was Orlesian, but I was never certain. Varel's comment about there being "only one Grey Warden assigned to the whole of Ferelden" always made me it Kristoff or the Warden he is speaking of? And if Kristoff, is he Ferelden or it is that he has been stationed in Amaranthine since the Blight ended..?--WardenWade (talk) 22:16, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
When he speaks to the dwarven pimp in WF, he says he'd been killing darkspawn for three years, and that's why the dwarf hasn't seen him in years. This means that prior to becoming a Warden, Kristoff lived in Amaranthine. He became a Warden after his wife and son were killed, probably by darkspawn; at the time, the Wardens were banned in Ferelden, so he travelled to other outposts. However, this does not give us any insight into what he was doing prior to being a bounty hunter, or where he was born. On the other hand, the actor who dubbed him in the series, does have a Fereldan (British) accent. Henio0 (talk) 22:37, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
Henio0 most of these are assumptions and we cannot base on them to reach a logical result. I suggest we remove this category until we know more about Kristoff's nationality. Viktoria Landers 17:48, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
Fine enough. :) Though, I doubt we'll find out his nationality unless we ask BW about it. Henio0 (talk) 19:10, January 22, 2013 (UTC)
Isn't there something in the DAA codex? He looks distinctly French when Justice is wearing him... could be the dead part though. He comes across as a Free Marcher to me though. Shadizar666 (Ruck Rules) 10:34, March 1, 2013 (UTC)
How can you even look French? What does that even mean? Besides, there is nothing to suggest he is from the Free Marches.Henio0 (talk) 12:26, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

I laughed at Shizar's comment. He looks french probably because he's dead? lol --XxDeonxX (talk) 08:01, January 2, 2014 (UTC)

Kristoff's... grandfather? Edit

I've been doing Awakening missions, and watching some videos, but I cannot find Aura mentioning Kristoff having a namesake grandfather. She says his father died a Grey Warden, in Justife for Kristoff, but nothing more. Can someone help me on this? --Zero (talk) 19:39, May 7, 2017 (UTC)
