I have no idea how to edit the wiki, but I just looted Kitty's Collar from the mage in charge of Griffon Wing Keep on a game started after the patch dropped.

Kitty's Collar could benefit from any additional info you might have, If you want to post it here I could update it for you. Thanks. --Zj24 (talk) 07:09, September 6, 2015 (UTC)

Kitty's Collar is from the relics of Thedas like the Ring of Doubt. I also aquired it from the Venatori leader when I captured Griffon Wing Keep, the same one that drops the Overseer's Cowl. Wonder if it's possible to aquire if you've already killed him?--RogueShadow3 (talk) 15:51, September 6, 2015 (UTC)

I have not tried editing Wiki pages in a very long time, and I'm a little worried about trying to do that here, but I have very important information to pass along about this item. For some people this item creates a glitch with Archers. Arrows fired by Archers wearing this necklace will almost always miss, taking a clear nose dive to strike the ground long before it reaches the target.

For more information, see this post in the EA Help Forums:

Lore section Edit

Shouldn't something clarify that the short story is not necessarily canon? HelterSkelter (talk) 22:28, April 7, 2016 (UTC)

I don't think we can say one way or another whether or not these are actually canon. BioWare are the ones who picked the contest winners, so I'm of the mind that BioWare acknowledges them/has adopted them as canon, though I don't think they've said for sure. --Kelcat Talk 01:28, April 8, 2016 (UTC)
