Why bring Cailan into this?

It's possible that I'm missing something, but why should this item have anything to do with Cailan? He died less than a decade before the events of the game, and Kirkwall isn't so far from Ferelden that news (and evidently Alistair) doesn't travel, so I think it's unlikely that Cailan's name would have been forgotten already. And, as already noted on the page, this armour doesn't resemble Cailan's in colour or style, so – what's the justification? --Muddlehead (talk) 23:09, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

I think you're missing the point. If it has nothing to do with Cailan, it shouldn't be brought as it is—it's misleading and inaccurate, which is bad for a wiki.

Even without the rune slots, this is quite arguably the most powerful tanking chest piece in the game.
