General Dual Wielding

A few questions:

• Does dual wielding affect the damage in any ways (besides the obvious reduction on the off-hand)
• How is the attack speed compared to single wielding
• Which weapon attributes do contirbute to all attacks ( i.e. does +x attack on the off-hand weapon also affect attacks with the main-hand)?
