Friend reactions

If you take Fenris with you and save the girl from Anders with the star option Fenris also gains +5 Friendship when Anders gets the +15. I had Varric with me, but friendship was locked in so I dunno if it has any effect on him as well.

Also, if you tell the mage girl to run away, you will get 10 rivalry with Fenris.

_____

In a party of Isabela (~75% friend), Fenris (high rivarly), and Anders (high rivarly), the star option netted +15 Rivarly for Anders, +5 Friendship for Fenris, no change for Isabela.

Giving Anders the Boot.

At the completion of this quest, you can, with selection of sufficient negative answers, tell Anders to leave your party. He will be greyed out on the party selection screen, and you will get 35 rivalry with him. I did not record the exat dialogue, sorry, it was something about selecting "What happened back there?" "You nearly killed that girl!" and accusing him of being unable to control Justice, then him offering to leave. Good riddance to him as well, imo.121.98.80.77 (talk) 03:06, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

No star option!

OK it will be nice if someone can detail under what circumstances do the star option occur. I am a male Rogue Hawke with already a high rivalry with Anders. I am not getting the star option.

Optionally, at the end of the quest you can confront Grand Cleric Elthina in the Chantry

What do you do for this? I've tried every combo before/after talking with Anders, with/without him, before/after Questioning beliefs. She has no chat options other than the standards.

There is an option to show the note to Elthina as well as Cullen. I don't know if there is a bug, to my knowledge there is not, but there is an option to speak with her regarding Alrik's plan. Balitant (talk) 10:43, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
