In line with re-organising the minor enemy pages, I have stumbled upon this. While Cultists themselves are certainly notable enough to have their own page, their subdivisions (like Cultist Mage or Archer) certainly don't, and I would suggest merging all those pages with this one. 4Ferelden (talk) 07:13, March 28, 2012 (UTC)

Merging Edit

While I agree that the subdivisions of the cultists are certainly not page-worthy, I am more than a little concerned about how user-friendly a page featuring every type of cultist and every talent for every type of cultist could realistically be. Since this is essentially what is being proposed, I do not agree with the merge. If there were a workable alternative that could get all the cultist subtype info in one place without creating a wormhole uber-page no one would want to look at, I think that would be an acceptable compromise. ----Isolationistmagi 03:38, December 23, 2012 (UTC)

What about simply using a table for the basic cultists (Archers, Reavers & mages) and then have a second table for unique cultists i.e. Assassins and Arcane Warrior cultists? For one example of what this will look like, see the Bandits, Bandits, Everywhere page.

Best regards & Merry Christmas. 4Ferelden (talk) 23:47, December 23, 2012 (UTC)

That sounds like a much more friendly way of organizing the page and I have no problems with it.

Avvars Edit

Is it possible that the first Disciples were Avvars? It is not uncommon for non-believers to convert to revere Andraste. For example, it happened with Archon Hessarian and Ash Warriors leader by the name of Gelgenig. Andraste supposedly shown herself to Gelgenig in his dreams (which could be possible if she was a somniari, but that's more about her being a mage theory). The Disciples live within the mountains and call visitors "lowlanders", as would the Avvarian hillsmen. Henio0 (talk) 14:05, April 20, 2013 (UTC)

Perhaps but I think these cultists may be of different breed and totally unrelated and separated from the other tribes living on the Frostback Mountains. Viktoria Landers 11:03, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
I just did some more research, and Disciple Havard was indeed an Avvar, but that was before they separated. Perhaps it's notable enough to state in the article. Henio0 (talk) 12:16, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
Considering that Andraste's armies were composed of many and different ethnicities, I do not think it's safe to assume that all of the first Disciples were of Avvar descent. Viktoria Landers 12:23, April 21, 2013 (UTC)
