Some thoughts on the glyphs spells: Glyph of Paralysis is good. It's not as good as a targeted paralyze in my opinion, but cheap control is always useful. Glyph of Warding has the same small area of effect as the other glyphs, which hurts it's utility. Good by doorways/chokepoints, or if your tank has everyone rounded up around him. The Glyph of Repulsion is one of the best battle field control spells in the game. Put it on the ground and your Mages/Archers can feel relatively safe until it's time to renew it. Put it on a doorway and just laugh. Glyph of Neutralization is stupidly good. Not quite on par with Force Field, but it instantly neutralizes a caster for pretty much the entire fight. Casting it on one drains all their mana immediately and interrupts any spell they're trying to cast. --Ocdscale 14:02, November 7, 2009 (UTC)
Can someone please help me with an explanation for this note: "A single caster can only maintain X "Glyphs of ..." at once."
Example: If I cast a Glyph of Paralysis there would NEVER be enough time - due to duration of effect and cooldown of spell - to cast another 3 or 4 glyphs of the same kind. So why the limitation note? - phil 00:07, May 7, 2010 (MET)
Stinging Swarm Edit
It says on this page that stinging swarm's damage is 100+spellpower PER SECOND, which I found very hard to believe. Maybe that's the total damage. Damage's I've seen were in the 20s when hexed with lower resists (and probably at least 60 spellpower). --126.96.36.199 03:07, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. Yeah, that wouldn't make much sense. If you divide it out, if the damage is over time, then the damage per second at base spellpower is 10.0, which is reasonable. --Various Pickles 05:08, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
