Name of this staffEdit

Hmm. The staff I got is called the "Corrupted Magister's Staff" and is Red Steel despite the fact the character I'm using is level 21. Could anyone confirm whether there is a staff called the "Corrupt Inquisitor Staff"? And that they've seen a staff at a level other than Tier 5 (Red Steel)? The other stats on the staff I've found match those in this article. Zoev talk 16:29, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I've moved this page to the one with the correct name for the staff I found, but have left behind a redirect. I've not fixed links to this page yet - I'll give folk a bit more time to let me know if I'm wrong about the staff name. Zoev talk 21:21, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Obtaining this staffEdit

Can you get the key to the chest containing the staff if you never did the Hungr Desserter quest?

Yes, if the quest was missed completely then you can pick the key to the Mage's Chest from the charred corpse of the prisoner (found by the fallen cages near where you first enter Ostagar in RtO. Zoev talk 14:30, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

Levelled item?Edit

Can anyone absolutely confirm that this item is levelled, ie can be found at different tiers? On the PC, it always seems to be Red Steel and selling/repurchasing it doesn't seem to updgrade it (as it does other levelled items). It would be good to have some corroboration of the claim that it is levelled at all, and if so whether this is just on XBox or whether anyone has found it with a different material on the PC. Stats?

I'm playing on the 360, and it says it grants five spellpower instead of willpower. Is that a PC/360 difference or something? Meridian Wake 07:12, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

This is not a levelled item, at least not on pc. Material stays red steel nomatter the level of your character when finding it. (Ooz 10:11, May 2, 2010 (UTC))

Wynne Edit

A simple inquiry, nothing more.

By chance, was this staff the very same one used by Wynne in Chapter 19 of Asunder when she tried to attack Evangeline and Cole? Said Archmage claims that the Warden gave it to her during the Fifth Blight.

The description is almost similar, but I'm none too sure.

Is there a way to confirm whether or not this is true?
