|This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Codex entry: The Life Drinker article.|
As I also explained on the other codex entry page and the wiki-forum I prefer one codex entry per page, just like 1 item or 1 location per page as reference, it helps me read better. I am not one to read through a whole page of text and find it more pleasant if it is separated, has some easy to read location tags and some screenshots as reference for if you doubt that it was spelled or written that way in game.
Say just like items and objects with a CodexInfoBox preferably :) We can then always include the parts we need in the other pages so we don't have to maintain it at 3 spots. (Just like one specific longsword and the longswords overview.)
Either way if you would like to delete this page fine, my adding of codex entries was already on hold, I don't like to do work for nothing and I didn't want to add more till there was a consensus on the forum so it's clear for all ;)--Mytharox 11:53, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
Deleting this page Edit
Thanks for picking up that this page is still included in the item page Lifedrinker, Mytharox. However, given that it's now been agreed we're having category rather than individual pages for codex entries, are you happy for me to remove the include from the item page and then re-mark this page for deletion? I think the valid comments you make on this talk page also appear in Forum:Codex Entries so they wouldn't be lost. --Zoev 11:49, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
- Erm, we didn't agree that... you were moving the old entries to the new style so it could be easily used for the places where individual codex were needed. There aren't that many of them, but most items would be handy to have the text of the codex on the item page as well, as it is completely about the background of those items. Perhaps some are needed for quests and for creatures too, I haven't looked in to it that many, but this one, and e.g. the litany of adralla were examples where the same info was already on multiple locations.--Mytharox 11:54, December 18, 2009 (UTC)
