Friendly/Bodyguard Avaline

Would some damage taken from casting spells still be mitigated to Avaline if she is a friend or using the Bodyguard Ability? --Geotexan (talk) 17:41, March 23, 2011 (UTC)

Dialogue options

Does picking this specialization add any dialogue options to the game?

Not that I have seen, though I didn't take it at level 7 or 14 (waited until 16) so I may have missed a chance to have someone mention it in conversation. Mictlantecuhtli (talk) 21:27, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

I did spot something different if you picked Blood Mage Specialization. During the quest "Act of Mercy", after you kill Decimus, Grace will say something like "I saw what you are, how could you kill one of your own for avoiding the Templars?" The aggressive option is different depending if you are a blood mage or not. The option for non blood mages goes something like "I dont need to be a circle mage to know that blood magic is wrong." whereas a blood mage Hawke would say something like "My reasons are my own." Only different i've spotted though Nothing game changing at all. Thought it was worth mentioning. 81.149.162.11 (talk) 20:26, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

Curious

So: Merrill didn't call a demon when she used blood magic to remove the barrier then ? She seemed to think her blood magic did just that.

Equipment / Gear

It would be nice if the main page showed the Act (and maybe location) for all the itemised gear.

"Generic equipment..." This is less than ideal when one is looking for equipment in Act 1 (or any other time). Can this not be more specific, or is it generally random ? Unfortunately vagueness seems to be common in the DA2 wiki.

Presently Merrill is wearing a 'Ring of Minor Cantrips' which confers an additional 0.25 health/mana conversion; unsure which stall had it now, probably a Lowtown one, And the only place I could find the "Neophyte Mage Gloves" in this whole Wiki was here --> [1].
