- When this mode is active, the archer's shots hamper foes. Each arrow deals regular damage and also encumbers the target with a temporary -7.5 attack for 10 seconds (time adjusted by enemy rank). This penalty can be applied multiple times.
- Conjuration time: 2s.
- 10 additional Threat is supposed to be drawn from the target. As of Patch 1.02, only damage-based Threat is drawn.
- Upkeep is in Stamina.
- This mode does not prevent the archer from inflicting critical hits.
- Unlike most sustained abilities, activation of Suppressing Fire has neither an animation nor a sound effect.
