The wolf lets out a loud howl, reducing the defense of all enemies nearby unless they pass a mental resistance check. |

The wolf lunges at an opponent and tears it with its powerful jaws. If the attack hits, it is an automatic critical hit. If the target can bleed, it takes addition damage for a short time. |
Note: From the tactics window, you can assign the Overwhelm, Shred, and Dread Howl abilities for the wolf. With Master Ranger, additional Charge and Growl abilities will be available in the same tactics window. You can only do this ONCE when you summon the wolf and the "x tactic slots acquired" notification pops out. See here for details.
