- Though it differs from the item description in Dragon Age: Origins, a recipe for Sugar Cake is given in the official cookbook. It calls for a simple, "humble" cake to be topped with butter, sugar, and almonds. It is said to be both a great gift and a good pick-me-up after traveling all day. Devon mentions that they bought one of these cakes from a surface dwarf merchant (possibly meaning Bodahn). This merchant advised Devon that even the Hero of Ferelden bought a few sugar cakes in order to gift to their companions.[1]
