Stone Dreams is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
A diary has been found, describing a man's troubling dreams, and his plans to find peace in a cave in the hills.
Acquisition
The quest is obtained by going into a hut near the Fade rift in Redcliffe Road and picking up the letter inside.
Walkthrough
Travel to Dwarfson's Pass and enter the cave to the southeast. There will be a rebel spellbinder and two lesser shades. Kill them to complete the quest. The spellbinder always drops a Keeper Ice Staff.
Further into the cave, the dead body of a dwarf is discovered; presumably the one who wrote the letter. Loot his corpse for a Bianca Arms I (Enhanced) schematic.

Notes
- It is entirely possible to visit the cave as part of the quests Open a Vein, In the Elements or Seeing Red and kill the enemies before finding the letter. If that is the case, the quest will complete immediately upon picking up the letter.
